Virtual Lunch And Learn: Upper Respiratory Illness Care For The Uninsured

October Virtual Lunch and Learn: Upper Respiratory Illness Care for the Uninsured

Today, Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett hosted its October Virtual Lunch & Learn, and it was a timely and insightful discussion. Good Samaritan Gwinnett CEO, Shameka Allen, and Associate Director of Clinical Operations, Caitlin Adams, led the conversation on Upper Respiratory Illness Care for the Uninsured – a topic that couldn’t be more relevant as we head into fall, a season notorious for colds, flu, RSV, and other respiratory infections.

During the virtual session, Caitlin shared practical tips on how to stay healthy this season, explained the clinic’s approach to managing these illnesses for uninsured patients, and highlighted key prevention strategies, like vaccinations and home care resources. Shameka emphasized the importance of accessible care and how Good Samaritan Gwinnett is committed to serving the community through preventive health measures.
