Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett provides non-emergency primary and specialty care for adults and children by employed and volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, nurses, and medical assistants.
Primary Care for Adults and Children
Primary Care includes care for minor illness and injuries, annual checkups, and physical exams and wellness visits. We also perform vision, hearing, dental, and nutrition screenings and immunizations for school enrollment.
Women’s Health
Women have unique health issues, including pregnancy, menopause, and conditions of the female organs. We provide breast and cervical cancer screening, menopause management, incontinence management, contraceptive choices, and treatment for vaginal infections, STDs, and menstrual problems.
Specialty Medical
Specialty Care includes medical services for cardiology, endocrinology, gynecology, internal medicine, neurology, orthopedics, and other significant or chronic medical conditions. Many of our Specialty Medical services are provided by volunteers and are available on a limited basis.
Chronic Care Management
Chronic Care Management includes long-term treatment for hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and heart and thyroid diseases. These diseases are very costly for the community if left untreated because they result in catastrophic end-stage conditions, such as heart attacks, renal failure, and liver failure. The goal for these patients is to stabilize their care by providing a medical home and to avoid unnecessary emergency room visits.
Healthcare Network
Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett has a network of medical providers and clinics that perform services outside of our facility, including radiology and imaging services, colonoscopy, minor and major surgery, mammograms, etc. Eligibility for these services varies, and you must be a patient currently under care with the clinic to be referred to a service within the Healthcare Network.
We save the community nearly 3,000 unnecessary emergency room visits each year.
Avoid the Emergency Room With Our Evening and Weekend Hours
The emergency room is intended for life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Avoid long waits and expensive medical bills by turning to the Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett for treatment of minor injuries and illness like cold, flu, rashes, high blood pressure, diabetes, upset stomach, cuts, abrasions, bruises, and many other medical discomforts.
“Before finding this clinic, I had no regular doctor because I do not have insurance. Now, I can go to one clinic for almost all my medical needs instead of waiting until I am in a crisis and then having no choice but to go to the emergency room.
