Good Samaritan Gwinnett Recognized at the Georgia State Capitol with House Resolution 68

On Friday, March 28, 2025, Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett was honored at the Georgia State Capitol with House Resolution 681, a commendation that highlights our commitment to expanding access to healthcare for Georgia’s most vulnerable populations.

The resolution, presented by Representative Arlene P. Beckles, recognized the vital role Good Samaritan Gwinnett plays in providing high-quality, compassionate medical and dental care to uninsured and low-income residents across metro Atlanta.

We’re incredibly grateful to Representative Beckles for uplifting not only our work but also the work of nonprofits throughout Georgia that are serving their communities with dedication and heart. This moment shows how far community-based care can go when it’s grounded in compassion, equity, and access for all.

Our CEO, Shameka Allen, represented Good Samaritan Gwinnett during the recognition and accepted the commendation on behalf of our staff, volunteers, donors, and the thousands of patients we serve each year.
