Since it’s opening, the Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett has relied on volunteers to provide services to the community. All volunteers must complete the following forms:

Volunteer Packet

Medical Volunteers

Primary Care and Specialty Physician: Provide medical care while leading the care team.

Nurse Practitioner: Provide direct primary care services under the indirect supervision of physicians. Must have experience working in a primary care setting.

Registered and Licensed Practical Nurse: Provide nursing care for patients following established standards and practices under the supervision of medical staff.

Medical Assistant: Assist providers with patient care and provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from Good Samaritan Gwinnett services.

Dental Volunteers

Dentist: Provide routine dental care (exam, evaluation, fillings, extractions).

Dental Hygienist: Provide routine oral care under the supervision of a volunteer dentist.

Dental Assistant: Provide technical assistance to volunteer dentists and hygienists providing care to underserved populations.

Supporting Role Volunteers

Translator/Interpreter: Translate patient documents and interpret for patients on the phone and in the office. Especially need Spanish interpreters.

Christian Counselor: Provide Biblically-based counseling and social services in the clinic.

Administrative Assistant: File, make copies, create new patient charts, type correspondence, assist with mailings, data entry.
